I was never a good observer
I could never invest my attention to things that didn’t serve my interests
I say “invest” because the effort to pay attention is costly to me
I’m a businessman of emotions.
So my vision grows narrower
If you look at the world through the paper holes that you crafted yourself for your own conveniences
You see the world in parts
You never see the full picture
The reality you conceive serves your own agenda
All of your motives become ulterior
Whether you want them to be or not.
Thus you live a life surrounded by mirrors.
You cease to exist in the grander scheme
You exist in your own imagination
You fail to be anyone.
